There is a Mexican restaurant approximately 75 yards from the home that has wonderful food and cocktails. Between the home and the beach, there are several locations to eat and to shop, making Casita Quetzal a very convenient and easy vacation rental. Check-in starts at 3 pm. Each Reservation will have a custom PIN to access the property, so check-in can take place anytime after 3 pm. The property is a private home with no shared spaces. Uvita does not have UBER and private taxis are not always available. We can also line up rental cars for you. The nearest international airport is San Jose (SJO) which is approximately 3 hours away. If you’d like to be picked up at the airport and driven down to the home, our concierge can assist you with that. There are two regional airports: Palmar Sur (35 minutes away) and Quepos (50 minutes away). Taking a regional flight is a wonderful way to see the amazing topography and the miles of beaches from the air. The regional flights only take between 25 minutes (Quepos) and 45 minutes (Palmar Sur) from San Jose’s domestic terminal.

The home and the swimming pool are private. The parking is shared and there is a set of stairs leading down to this Property and one other property, which is shared (the stairs). A 4x4 or an SUV is required to access the property. The road is paved but steep.
