Useful information
- The roads on the Amalfi coast can be very busy during peak summer months.
- Some beaches are stoney and can be pricey to rent a sun lounger on, but the Mediterranean Sea here is clean and clear.
- The summer months can be very hot, so if you want to go on a walking holiday from here, you may find the weeks between peak and off-peak the best time to visit.
- It is possible to hire a yacht to see the coast from the sea. While one of the more costly excursions, it is arguably the best way to view the jaw-dropping landscape.
