Natural beauty is on the doorstep at Villa Anfora, with idyllic countryside stretching for miles all around you. Enjoy long walks and bike rides to discover the ancient olive groves and sleepy villages that are some of the most scenic features of the landscape. Ostuni, otherwise known as ‘The White City’, is less than 15 minutes away from the villa by car. As well as the whitewashed buildings that populate the old town area, there are plenty of other historic attractions to tick off your sightseeing list. These include the 15th-century cathedral and city walls. If you visit the city on a Saturday, you’ll get to browse the fresh fruit and vegetable market. And towards the end of August is when the famous Cavalcata di Sant'Oronzo festival is held. The pretty towns of the famous Valle d'Itria are within easy reach and include Cisterino Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Alberobello. Many have a charming, fairytale-like feel, with trulli-lined streets being a particular feature of Alberobello.

Head to the Ostuni coast to enjoy a day out by the sea. There’s a number of beautiful beaches on offer, so you’re totally spoilt for choice. One of the best is Quarto di Monte, with the parkland of Parco Dune Costiere just a few kilometres West. Visiting this beach means relaxing on the sand in the morning, then spending the afternoon exploring the wildlife and natural habitats of the park. There are inland olive groves, sand dunes and wetlands to discover, with many trails to hike and cycle along. You can also take guided tours to learn more about the stunning area. Another place of interest for a trip is the city of Lecce. It’s just over an hour’s drive away and is full of baroque buildings and cultural charm, as well as much more ancient landmarks. As a result of its rich history and art, it’s often referred as ‘Florence of the South’.

Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

Heating costs included? : Not included from October to April, €100 per week
Linen & towels included? : Yes.
End of stay cleaning included? : Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
Minimum stay : 7 nights in July and August, 2 nights during the rest of the year.
Changeover day : Saturday in July and August. Flexible during the rest of the year.
Pets welcome? : On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €15 per pet per day will apply (paid locally).
Smoking Allowed? : Outside only.
Pool towels included? : Yes.
Pool opening dates? : The pool is open approximately May to September. Please note that pool opening dates are subject to local weather conditions and pool maintenance requirements and that cooler months may not be suitable for swimming.
Tax : Italian Visitors Tax payable locally in cash (typically costs €1-€3 per adult per night- please enquire if exact amount is required).
Insurance : Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
