Welcome to Haven on Hang Glider- A warm, welcoming, and contemporary home, nestled in a commanding hilltop location among towering alpine trees and manicured ski slopes. Ideal for enjoying the glorious nature far from city life rigors, while still being a quick drive, walk, or gondola ride from eclectic dining, premier shopping, and vibrant activities of Mountain Village. Just steps away from the front door is a dedicated trail to the Double Cabin ski run with easy access from there to the entire ski mountain.
Past the stone, wood, and glass facade, guests are greeted with a vast, open, and light-filled great room. This bright, welcoming room is pure comfort. It features floor-to-ceiling windows and several cozy sitting areas. Here, guests can kick off their shoes and relax after a day on the slopes, next to a crackling fireplace, with a glass of wine in hand. The living room opens to a large stone patio surrounded by towering aspens.
Right off the living area is the kitchen with generous food preparation spaces and stainless steel appliances. The perfect kitchen to prepare a lovely dinner while enjoying the company of your fellow travelers in the living area. The island in the center of the kitchen has casual bar seating, while the formal dining table has seating for eight. The dining room spills onto an additional paved deck complete with a barbecue grill and a hot tub. Enjoy long alfresco lunches, summer barbecues, and soothing dips in the hot tub all while overlooking sensational tree-lined views.
The rest of the main level includes a powder room near the kitchen and two spacious suites - one split king and the other a queen with queen-size beds, each with its own workspace and attached bathroom.
Upstairs, guests will find a primary and a secondary suite both featuring a king-size bed that inspires relaxation and all-day sleep-ins.
The primary bedroom’s picture window views ensure a serene start to the day, while the private balcony allows guests to soak up the sun and unbroken alpine views. The primary bedroom has a large walk-in closet and working space. The primary bathroom is a timeless, sophisticated space. Complete with dual sinks, a glass shower, and a jetted soaking tub. Enjoy a long, contemplative soak in the tub after a long day in the Colorado mountains.
The second primary suite has five stars written all over it featuring a king-size bed and a full wall of closets. The bright and breezy en-suite bath comes with a tub/shower combo.
The home’s lower level features a garage, laundry room, and a huge media room with two full over full bunk beds. This media room is ideal for hosting movie nights and curling up on the leather sofas with buttery popcorn and hot cocoa. The media room also features a ping pong table, games, and a half bathroom- the perfect hangout spot for you and your crew.
