The Neighborhood

Puerto Banús lies to the west of Marbella, but that hasn’t always been the case. It was conceived and built by a property developer, Jose Banús, in 1970 – a kind of playground for the rich and famous with a yacht-filled marina, restaurants, designer boutiques and plenty of sports cars around. It certainly enjoys a spectacular location, with the La Concha mountain in the background, and the equally glamorous city of Marbella so close by. It’s not all fine dining in Puerto Banús – you will find plenty of places to enjoy a pizza, burger or simple breakfast. You’ll find no shortage of nightlife if you’re looking for it, but Puerto Banús also has something for younger visitors too, with a children’s play area on Antonio Banderas Square. In summer there are daily street markets on this square too, contrasting with the high-end fashion labels you will find lining the Port area. Even if you’re not buying, it’s fun to people-watch.

Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
  • For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

  • Security deposit : €2,000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
