Just 700 metres from the lovely beach of La Fustera, Villa Segol is a bright and comfortable 4 bedroom villa sleeping 8 guests. La Fustera is a tranquil, family-friendly resort with a number of excellent bars and restaurants, shops and banks. It is situated between the wonderful resorts of Moraira, 8.5km away, and Calpe. 


Moraira, an old fishing village, is very very attractive and upmarket. Calpe, a central hotspot on the Costa Brava, blends it’s old town history brilliantly with modern tourist facilities. Both have stunning beaches, lively nightlife and excellent restaurants. There is a delightful coastal walk from Moraira to Calpe with fabulous views of the dazzling sea and the dramatic coastline.

The Neighborhood

La Fustera beach and Cala Les Bassetes, the beach next door, are delightful places to spend sunny days while on holiday. Cala Les Bassetes has a small marina with the Les Bassetes Dive Centre and Las Antipolda Water Sports Centre where you can enjoy kayaking, sailing, diving, windsurfing and stand up paddleboarding. La Fustera has a lovely beach bar. The coastal path from Moraira to Calpe passes both beaches and boasts magnificent sea views. 
The Ifach Rock at Calpe is so dramatic. The clifftops are covered in local fragrant coastal pines. Snorkelling is amazing around the tiny little coves such as Cala de Raco, Cala Gasparet, Cala del Morello and Cala Calaga. Larger family-friendly beaches with sand and shallow water are Ampolla, Portet, Platgetes, Moraig, Playa de la Fossa and Playa del Arenal Bol. Cala de Morello is home to the Roman remains Banos de la Reina where children love to paddle and explore the rock pools among the ruins. 
 
Moraira is an upmarket, picturesque resort with sandy and rocky beaches, fabulous restaurants in the old town and around the marina and a buzzy Friday market, all against a backdrop of the majestic mountains. 
 
Calpe is busier, especially along the promenade. The 15th century-old walls of the old quarter were constructed to keep the pirates out. The narrow cobbled streets and magnificent murals are very attractive. Calpe’s fish auction at 5 pm each day is a longstanding local fishermen’s tradition and pretty incredible to watch. The Night of San Juan is one of the most special summer nights in Calpe with bonfires and many celebrations. During July there are also the Fairs of Andalusia and Virgen del Carmen in Calpe, both events that the whole family will enjoy. 
 
The charming town of Altea is not too far away, characterised by its whitewashed house fronts, narrow, cobbled streets and beautiful beaches. Many artists and photographers flock to Altea. Some of the architecture dates bath to the Moorish occupation of Spain. The impressive blue and white-domed church in Plaza Iglesia overlooking the sea is stunning with baroque style decoration and incredible stained glass windows. Market day in Altea is Tuesday. Local produce is sold on Calle Filarmonica and on Camino del Algar you will find clothes, jewellery, leather goods and handcrafted goodies.

Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
  • For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

House Rules

  • Security deposit : €300 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
  • Arrival time : 4 pm
  • Departure time : 10 am
  • End of stay cleaning included? : Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
  • Linen & towels included? : Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
  • Energy costs included? : Yes, included in the rental price.
  • Heating costs included? : Not included in the rental price, extra €8 per day, paid locally.
  • Minimum stay : 4 nights
  • Changeover day : Saturday during high season.
  • Pets welcome? : On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €45 per pet per day will apply (paid locally).
  • Smoking Allowed? : Not permitted.
  • Tax : Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
  • Insurance : Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
