Casa Mingo is located in Gulf Palms subdivision which is just west of Jamaica Beach at 16 Mile Road. Casa Mingo is a modern home with an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. The home was built on the 2nd row beach side, nothing is built in front of this home so views of the Gulf of Mexico are not obstructed. Just sit and look out to the water - sunrise in the morning is breathtaking! Guests will enjoy a home with a beach flair and all the comforts that any guest may ask. The Casa Mingo home boasts a very short walk to the water’s edge (less than 2 minute walk), well equipped home with all of the modern amenities. Guests may enjoy watching TV (Fire stick in use, no cable television) or logging onto the wifi to check the social media of the day, or just put away all the electronics and walk on the sandy beach while gulls and pelicans chatter overhead.

Payment and Cancellation - 60 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) reservation is canceled within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation, the remaining 50% will be charged 60 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 60 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 60 days before arrival: 100% refund.

House Rules

  • Guest must complete Rental Agreement and agree to terms.
  • Guest must complete Guest Registration with names and ages of all guests.
  • Guest must be 25 years old to rent this property and must provide valid ID at check-in. 
  • Check-in is 3 pm, and check-out is at 10 am.
  • All properties are non-smoking.
  • Parking is limited to designated areas.

  • Outside/exterior security surveillance is present at this home.
