The Home

In classic Comporta style, this beach home centers around a cluster of three modern buildings: the main house, a large guest cabana and a smaller cabana all united by a huge lawn garden that encompasses almost 60,000 sqft (5,000 sqm). The cherry on the cake of this luxury Comporta rental is the saltwater swimming pool and its lounge area that mimics the shape of the sun and the moon.

Surrounded by pine forest and close enough to the beach that you can hear waves crashing on the sand, you get a real sense you’re on a beach vacay at all times. A privilege enhanced even further by the fact that as guests here you can access a semiprivate beach that can only be reached by people living or staying within the exclusive gated neighborhood. Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
  • For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

House Rules

  • - Housekeeping 3 days a week
  • - Sheet and towel change every 7 days.

  • - Long-term rentals considered, (except July and August).
  • - AC in the main house only but the home is generally very cool, even in summer.
  • - No age restriction (1 crib)
  • - Swimming pool does not have childproofing and is 1.30 meters deep.
  • - The pool is not heated but gets lots of sun.
  • - Smoking strictly outside only but extra care must be taken not to cause a fire in the arid conditions.
  • - No bonfires of any kind permitted, and BBQs in specified areas only.
  • - At time of inspection, there was no safety deposit box, but the house has an alarm system and is in a secure compound.
