The Neighborhood
Casa Blaumar is located in between the popular towns of Villanova i la Geltru and Sitges. It is easy to access the local amenities from the villa with a twenty-minute walk to the local supermarket and thirty minutes to the port and beach at Villanova i la Geltru. Here there are also several restaurants to enjoy, there is a range of cuisines available, but we recommend you try the local seafood and tapas for a memorable culinary experience! There are some wonderful walks in the area; these often follow the coast and provide fantastic views on the rugged coastline and offer a wonderful insight to the local flora and fauna. You can head to Punta Grossa for some great trails and amazing sunsets. Another way to explore the coastline is on a private boat tour. Offering a different perspective, the tours will guide you to some of the quieter and more remote areas with hidden coves and quiet beaches. The tour guides have an amazing knowledge of the local history and can offer some great insights into the regions fascinating past. With Barcelona just thirty minutes away by car, it is a great opportunity for a day trip. On a whistle-stop tour, it is possible to see many of the city’s famous landmarks in a day. We highly recommend you visit La Sagrada Familia for a breathtaking experience. The incredible architecture is unlike anything, soon due for completion after over a hundred years; there is no better time to visit! For another unique architectural experience, a trip to Park Güell is a must. You can wander the parks winding paths and enjoy the quirky structures designed by Gaudi, the streets leading up to the park are the perfect place to pick up some souvenirs, from jewellery and keyrings to rugs and clothing; you can pick something to remind you of your adventure! Closer to home, Sitges is also well worth a visit. The town is famous for its artistic history, now encapsulated within the Cau Ferrat Museum. Here you can explore Santiago Rusiñol’s former home and appreciate many of his works alongside other artists, with names like El Greco and Picasso some of those featured. Sitges is also known for its vibrant nightlife, particularly with the LGTBQ community. After dinner in the quaint restaurants, the town comes to life with bars filling and clubs offering a space to dance into the early hours!

Things To Know
Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy
Grace Period:
- Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.
Payment Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
- More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
- For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy:
- 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
- More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
- For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.
House Rules
- Security deposit : €1,000 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
- Arrival time : 4 pm
- Departure time : 10 am
- End of stay cleaning included? : Extra €1,000 paid locally. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
- Linen & towels included? : Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs included? : Yes, included in the rental price.
- Heating costs included? : Yes, included in the rental price.
- Internet access? : Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
- Minimum stay : 7 nights
- Changeover day : Saturday.
- Pets welcome? : Not allowed.
- Smoking Allowed? : Not permitted.
- Tax : Tourist Tax of €0.90 per person per night for over 16's is not included in the rental price and will need to be paid prior arrival via a link direct to the supplier.
- Insurance : Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
