This colourful 4-bedroom villa in Chiclana de la Frontera is around 20km from Cádiz on Spain’s Costa de la Luz. With a beautiful fenced garden which gets plenty of sun, Villa Oca is around 4km from the centre of Chiclana.


An 11m x 4m swimming pool is one of the highlights of this property’s appealing outdoor space. There is garden furniture so you can enjoy lazing around in the fresh air, and a barbecue for informal dining with friends. Sun loungers line up on the eye-catching pink terrace facing the pool, which also features a traditional Sevillian fountain.


The house itself is formed of three units. The main house is all on one level and has a large living room and dining area with a fireplace. There’s plenty of seating and an exotic touch lends a boldness to the décor. You have both satellite TV and free Wi-Fi to entertain yourself with at Villa Oca.

The Neighborhood

In the wonderful surroundings of the Bay of Cádiz Natural Park, the large town of Chiclana de la Frontera is a picturesque place where you can enjoy an easy-going atmosphere. At around 30 minutes from the nearest airport at Jerez, the town has a reliably mild climate, and the long, sandy beaches are the ideal place to get some sun.
Chiclana is also a place where you can experience traditional Andalucian customs, if you wish – bullfighting and flamenco dancing are still part of life, and the traditional architecture of the town has been preserved too, with narrow little streets, whitewashed buildings and courtyards filled with flowers.
The natural attractions of this protected area, such as pine forests, lakes and vineyards, mean there is much more than beach life in Chiclana. You won’t have to travel far inland to experience an abundance of greenery, which provides a nice contrast to the coast. As a sizeable town, Chiclana can also provide all you would need in terms of amenities. With far more bars and restaurants than you could ever get around to trying, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to trying the region’s food and wine. Aside from seafood and Spanish sausages, look out for the almond pies made by Augustinian nuns – a local speciality.
For city escapes, you’ll be well-placed. As well as Cádiz, around 28km away, you have Jerez within a 40-minute drive, while Seville and Gibraltar can both be reached in just under an hour and a half.

Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
  • For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

  • Security deposit : €300 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.

  • End of stay cleaning included? : Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or garbage disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
  • Linen & towels included? : Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
  • Energy costs included? : Yes, included in the rental price.
  • Internet access? : Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
  • Minimum stay : 5 nights
  • Changeover day : Saturday during high season.
  • Pets welcome? : Not allowed.
  • Smoking Allowed? : Not permitted.
  • Tax : Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
  • Insurance : Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
