Throw in a deep and global history and you have a destination to please practically anyone! Villa Albahaca is located in the southern coast of the land, some 50 kilometres from the world-famous town of Malaga. The home forms part of a quiet residential area in a superb position, just 4 kilometres from the beach, in an exclusive and upscale cul-de-sac. The villa sits on the fringes of Nerja, a cosy fishing village which has grown in popularity due to its proximity to Marbella and Malaga. The town is enclosed by the Sierra Almijara, an imposing mountain range, meaning if you love hikes and expeditions, you aren't ever far from an operator who can give you an ascent through the peaks! In Nerja, you can visit the untouched old quarters, where narrow and cobbled streets host a tonne of traditional restaurants where you can dine like royalty. Whilst in the town, make sure to visit, Balcon de Europa, the former location of an impressive Moorish castle, its promenade offering panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean coast! There's a whole treasure trove of beaches that line the southern shores of Andalusia and twelve of them are located within the provincial boundaries of Nerja. Most of the watersports are found on Burriana Beach. Here, golden grains of sand will complement your relaxation and fun in the sun and the crystal-clear waters of the sea make for the perfect natural swimming pool. You can shop and dine in shops and restaurants across the promenade that lines the beach or indulge in water-sports for all ages and differing moods. Should you wish for a different take on things, soar through the sky like a bird and gaze across the stunning scenery as you take part in paragliding tours!

Things To Know


Payment and Cancellation - 90 Day Policy

Grace Period:

  • Guests may cancel for free provided that: (1) cancellation is within 48-hours of reservation request, and (2) reservation request was made at least 10 days before arrival.

Payment Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: Guests pay 100% at time of reservation.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: Guests pay 50% at time of reservation (non-refundable), the remaining 50% will be charged 90 days prior to arrival.
  • For guests paying with points: 100% of payment will be deducted at time of reservation, once booking is verified within 48 hours.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 90 days or less prior to arrival: No refund issued, unless ‘Grace Period’ applies.
  • More than 90 days before arrival: initial 50% payment is forfeited; the remaining 50% will not be charged.
  • For guests paying with points more than 90 days before arrival: 50% of points taken are forfeited; the remaining 50% will be refunded within 5-10 business days.

House Rules

  • Security deposit : €300 charged to client’s credit card by the owner before/upon arrival and refunded two weeks after departure, subject to full inspection.
  • Arrival time : 4 pm
  • Departure time : 10 am
  • End of stay cleaning included? : Yes. However, guests are required to leave the accommodation clean, tidy and in the same condition as on their arrival. Any extra cleaning, laundry, maintenance and/or rubbish disposal required will be charged against the security deposit.
  • Linen & towels included? : Bed linen, bath and pool towels are included in the rental price.
  • Energy costs included? : Yes, included in the rental price.
  • Internet access? : Wi-Fi internet access included in rental price.
  • Minimum stay : 3 nights
  • Changeover day : Saturday during high season.
  • Pets welcome? : On request only and with prior agreement with the owner. If accepted, a pet supplement of €28.60 per pet per week will apply (paid locally).
  • Smoking Allowed? : Not permitted.
  • Tax : Tourist Tax included in the rental price.
  • Insurance : Guests are required to be in possession of a valid insurance policy, which covers them for cancellations, personal belongings, public liability and any accidental damage caused during their stay.
