With over 5,000 square feet of luxurious living space and room for up to sixteen people, Polar Queen is a picture-perfect spot for hosting that large group getaway or Rocky Mountain family reunion that everyone will remember. Located on the exclusive Hood Park Road in magnificent Mountain Village, guests of Polar Queen will have easy ski access just down the road, lots of extraordinary gathering spaces, and exceptional mountain views from nearly every spot in the house.
The interior design of Polar Queen is refreshingly bright and modern, with sleek details and an airy and open GREAT ROOM. This stylish gathering space is anchored by a contemporary center fireplace with rustic stone detail. On one side of the fireplace is a comfortable LIVING AREA with chic leather furniture and gorgeous views. On the other side of the fireplace is the DINING ROOM, with jewel tones velvet chairs and access to the sunny outdoor DECK.
In between these two spaces lies the impressive chef’s KITCHEN. Custom, charcoal cabinets are topped with gorgeous slabs of white and gray quartz. On one end of the kitchen is the grand Viking range, with double ovens, a griddle, and a built-in vent hood. The other end of the kitchen houses the spacious, paneled refrigerator. There’s also a lovely island with plenty of bar stool seating, while overhead the soaring cathedral ceiling is bisected with exposed wood beams.
Take the stairs up to the LOFT overlooking the great room. Here you’ll have access to a dedicated office area, as well as a private, tree-house-like DECK SPACE that holds a bubbly, blissful hot tub. This is a perfect spot to relax with a bottle of wine and gaze up at the stars after spending an epic day on the nearby ski slopes or hiking trails.
The PRIMARY BEDROOM SUITE is the only bedroom located on the main level and features a luxe king-size bed, huge windows with breathtaking mountain views, and an ensuite bathroom. Just above this room is a unique OPEN LOFT with a twin-size bed— ideal for a small child.
Take the stairs down to the lower level, where you’ll find another delightful, SECONDARY LIVING SPACE, complete with a sectional sofa piled high with vibrant throw pillows, a fireplace, a wet bar, and a large HDTV for movie night. Also on this level, you’ll find a GUEST BEDROOM with two twin-size beds as well as another GUEST BEDROOM with a king-size bed and an ensuite full bathroom. A third GUEST BEDROOM has a queen-size bed and an attached full bathroom.
In the wood-paneled BUNK ROOM, there are two twin-over-full-size bunks plus a twin-size day bed with a twin-size trundle. In total, this room can accommodate eight people easily. Next to this fun bunk space is a GAME ROOM with a pool table, leather sofa bed, and HDTV.
