At the same time, it offering the ambiance of eras past, with a vaulted ceiling with distressed wood beams, stacked stone fireplaces and porcelain wood-look flooring throughout. Designed for indoor/outdoor living, the pet-friendly home is on a fully fenced lot with tall shrubs in the back for privacy. Adjacent to the backyard patio is a 207-square-foot detached game room, where youngsters can hang out and play video games or foosball. The home, in a quiet neighborhood near Forest Hill Park, is just 4 blocks to town and a few minutes walk to the beach as well as fine dining, art galleries and shopping in downtown Carmel. It’s also just 10 minutes by car to world-class golfing and restaurants in Pebble Beach, to monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with complimentary cheese and wine or sparkling cider, wine tasting passes and a basket of local information. An assigned concierge vacation house manager is available to assist you during your stay. The adjacent dining room features a table for 10. French doors from both the kitchen and living room lead to the backyard patio, surrounded by trees and shrubs. A gourmet gas grill is available for backyard barbecues along with an outdoor dining table and string lights. There’s comfortable seating around the firepit, and the detached game room can be found on the other side of the patio. Inside, a bathroom and two bedrooms can be found down the hall. The bathroom has a marble-topped vanity, large mirror and two-person shower with custom tile and removable shower-head. The two bedrooms both have queen beds and luxury bedding. A stacked washer-dryer is in the hallway. Stairs lead to the upper-level master bedroom suite, with ocean views through the treetops easily seen from the California king bed.
