Located just East of the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park, Mandy’s Veranda is the charming Southern cottage you’ve been looking for!
Look for the white picket fence and colorful trim to know you’ve arrived. This friendly 1800s cottage has been updated to suit the needs of the modern traveler while still harkening back to old Southern charm. Put down your bags and kick your feet up inside the formal living room facing the front of the home. Adjacent, you’ll find the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops.
Toward the back of the house is a casual living space and flat-screen TV. A washer and dryer are ideal for extended stays, and a full bath is conveniently located for sleeping sofa guests. From this room, there is access to the deck with rocking chairs and a courtyard with a large seating area—the perfect spot for spending an evening sipping wine and recounting the day with loved ones.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom boasts a king-size bed and en suite bath. Across the hall, through the game parlor and writing room, is the second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a third with a Twin and Trundle. A full bath with tub/shower combo has Jack-and-Jill doors to accommodate both bedrooms.
What is parking like for this home?
Parking is on-street and non-metered, and it is first come, first served. Guests do not typically have trouble finding parking in this part of town. Guests are encouraged to keep note of the posted Sweep Zone signs.
