OCOTILLO LODGE The famous 1957-built Ocotillo Lodge, previously owned by Gene Autry, has an incredible history of celebrity guests with their own bungalows and suites! This is where the Rat Pack hung out. Work out in the fitness room overlooking the enormous Champagne cork shaped pool. The Ocotillo is only minutes from restaurants, casinos, golf courses, and downtown Palm Springs. Just off the pool is a cabana with an outside patio bar & grilling facilities. The Ocotillo also features a full gymnasium & recreation room with pool tables, game/card tables & shuffle board. NEIGHBORHOOD: Fantastic restaurants and cafes are an easy stroll away or if you plan to stay put, enjoy the huge champagne bottle shaped pool while taking in the majestic view of Mt. San Jacinto. The art of Palm Springs living can be found at the Ocotillo Art Lounge. Per HOA, you are only allowed 1 dog per unit and it cannot exceed 25 lbs. Pets are not allowed in the pool area for any reason. Property Management provided by Oranj Palm Vacation Homes This property is professionally managed by Oranj Palm Vacation Homes and it is required to submit a signed rental agreement by the guest/tenant within 48 hours of an accepted OTA reservation. Failure to submit this signed agreement within 48 hours will result in a cancellation of the reservation. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF RENTAL: - Responsible party (YOU) must be 25 years or older per city laws to sign rental agreement. -No smoking allowed on community grounds, including patios. - Per Palm Springs Vacation Rental Ordinance, the maximum occupancy allowed is 2 people per bedroom PLUS an additional 2 if they are 12 years of age or under only. - Violation of any rules/ordinances listed below may result in fine(s) and/or immediate eviction. Renter agrees that any such fines will be charged to the credit card on file. - All cancellations subject to a $75 cancellation fee regardless of time frame. - No house parties: An unauthorized party or event at the property will lead to your immediate removal from the property. The city of Palm Springs has strict vacation rental ordinances regarding parties. Your cooperation is appreciated. - No outdoor music allowed at any volume at any time of day (This includes any music, at any volume, on any device such as a cell phone) any indoor music which can be heard from the street OR from the neighboring property is prohibited. Your cooperation is appreciated. - No smoking indoors. Smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere inside the house. If smoking outside, please follow HOA rules and make sure to use an ashtray and collect all cigarette litter. - AC/Heating - Please DO NOT turn AC below 74 degrees during summer, turning AC lower than 74 will not cool the house faster and may freeze the AC system. - Please make sure you keep all doors and windows shut in summer/winter to conserve energy. We monitor energy usage at all properties, and you may be charged an additional energy fee if energy usage is 20% or more above normal. - Our properties do not include RV, trailer, 5th wheel, etc. parking. Other arrangements will need to be made. - Please do not place hot or wet plates or cups directly on furniture, use coasters. HOUSEKEEPING & MAINTENANCE: - Guest/tenant must notify upon check-in or within 24 hours of any housekeeping complaint or property maintenance issue. - Please, DO NOT attempt to fix anything yourself, please call us immediately. -Broken/Missing items: we much prefer that you report to us any items broken or missing upon your departure. We understand that accidents happen and would appreciate your honest cooperation if something went wrong while at the house. BEFORE YOU LEAVE CHECKLIST: - ALL trash should be tied in garbage bags and put in your trash bin prior to departure. Excessive trash left at the property may incur extra charges. - Laundry – please remove all dirty sheets and towels and place in the laundry area/room. We would appreciate if you start a first load of laundry. - Please do not re-arrange the house décor or move furniture. - Close and lock all doors and windows, set the alarm on if a code was provided to you. - Make sure to turn all lights and electronics off, including pool/SPA lights, shut off the AC, and turn SPA off. - Return all sets of keys, gate passes and garage door openers to our Smoketree office.
