The Barn - Romantic Cotswolds Stay

When it comes to quintessential Cotswold stays, it doesn’t get closer than The Barn. The perfect couples getaway - if you like going on adventures together, this is the place. Walking routes, waterways and open landscape sit right outside the door, with a cosy base to come back to. And when you’re all adventured out, there’s a south-facing spot to sit, a croquet lawn nearby, and the pub just down the road. It’s dog friendly too. The Barn sleeps up to two guests across one bedroom, featuring a king-size bed and a private bathroom. The open-plan living and kitchen area includes a fully equipped kitchen with appliances and cookware, a Smart TV and fast and reliable WIFI. Central heating keeps the space comfortable year-round, and Wildsmith Skin toiletries, along with bed linen and towels, are included for every guest. Outside, you’ll have access to a south-facing private outdoor seating area, along with use of the croquet lawn, with mallets provided, if you feel like a little knock around before lunch. You’ll have full private use of The Barn throughout your stay, along with access to the outdoor seating area and croquet lawn. Parking is available on site, with one allocated space and additional room for visitors. Check in from 3PM and check out by 10AM. You can arrive at your own pace with self check-in via key box, just give us a call if you have any issues. • A car is helpful but not essential • 20-min walk to the nearest bus stop (Swindon - Cheltenham) • Two bikes available (basic) or rentals nearby • Cirencester: 5 miles | Cheltenham: 22 miles | Oxford: 28 miles The house is dog-friendly. One well-behaved dog is welcome (£35 per dog). Decoration services can be arranged for special occasions. Quiet hours run from 10.30PM to 8AM, and we ask guests to respect the peaceful setting: No parties, and no smoking indoors.
