These beaches are not only perfect for catching waves but also for family outings, with plenty of space for picnics, sandcastle building, and coastal walks.
The village itself boasts a rich history, with the 16th-century St. Brannock's Church standing as a testament to its long-standing heritage. Visitors can delve into the local history at the Braunton Museum, which provides insights into the area's maritime past and its role during World War II.
For those interested in the culinary side of things, Braunton offers a variety of dining options, from cozy pubs serving traditional English fare to contemporary restaurants highlighting local seafood.
