Lazy Bear is made for guests who want the Smokies with a view, not just a place to sleep near town. Set high on a Gatlinburg mountain ridge, this recently remodeled 2-bedroom condo overlooks the Great Smoky Mountains and offers small families, couples, or friends a peaceful base with nearby shared resort-style amenities.
Inside, the condo feels cozy, comfortable, and easy to settle into after a full day out. The living room centers around a stone fireplace, soft seating, and a flat-screen TV, with sliding doors that lead straight to the balcony and its sweeping mountain backdrop. Nearby, the fully equipped kitchen handles breakfasts before a park day or easy dinners in, while bar seating and a dining area keep everyone connected.
Two queen bedrooms and two bathrooms make the layout straightforward for up to four guests. Both bedrooms include flat-screen TVs, giving everyone a quiet place to recharge after hikes, pool time, or a day in downtown Gatlinburg.
The balcony is where Lazy Bear really leans into its mountain setting. Start the morning with coffee as the ridgelines come into view, come back after a hike for cool forest air, or settle in at sunset as the light moves across the national forest. Beyond the condo, the shared community spaces give guests even more ways to enjoy the ridge-top setting: gather by the fire pit on cool mountain evenings, play a round on the tennis or basketball courts, let kids enjoy the playground, or head to the game pavilion for ping pong, cornhole, and extra room to hang out. Guests also have access to the indoor pool, shared hot tub, wet sauna, and dry sauna, making downtime feel easy no matter the season.
From its spot on Weber Road, Lazy Bear gives you the best of both Gatlinburg worlds: a peaceful mountain setting with wide views, plus a paved drive to the attractions, restaurants, and energy of downtown. The condo is about 12 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, close enough for dinner, shopping, and mountain-town exploring, while still giving you the quiet, elevated feel that makes a Smoky Mountains trip feel like a true escape. Spend the day in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, head into town for classic Gatlinburg fun, or drive to Pigeon Forge for family attractions, then return to a condo where the balcony views, indoor pool, sauna, and shared amenities make staying in feel just as worthwhile.
