The villa features five bedrooms, including an independent guesthouse designed as a private suite with its own bathroom and an intimate terrace—perfect for ensuring privacy and autonomy for its occupants. Set slightly below the main house, this suite is located near a small road with occasional traffic, which may cause light noise disturbances at certain times of the day.
In the main house, the bright living room, fully equipped open-plan kitchen, and dining area come together to create a generous and welcoming living space, opening directly onto the landscaped garden and the infinity pool. The entire space enjoys abundant natural light thanks to large bay windows overlooking the outdoors.
On the ground floor, a first bedroom includes a spacious walk-in closet and is adjacent to a modern bathroom. Upstairs, three additional bedrooms share a large bathroom with both a bathtub and a walk-in shower, and the top floor offers a dedicated office area, ideal for remote working in a peaceful setting.
The entire property—including the guest suite—is fully air-conditioned. Outside, a pétanque court adds a relaxed and convivial touch to summer afternoons.
Access to the villa is via a sloping residential road, which offers an elevated view of the surrounding area. However, low-clearance vehicles are not recommended. A selection of local shops—including a bakery, butcher, and cafés—are within walking distance, while the historic village center of Ventabren is just a few minutes away by car.

About the area
Aix-en-Provence, often simply called Aix, is a city of art, light, and activity, nestled in the south of France. It's a destination that captivates with its vibrant cultural scene, historical richness, and Provençal charm. The city's elegant avenues and public squares, lined with 17th and 18th-century mansions, make for a picturesque setting that has inspired artists like Paul Cézanne, a native of Aix.
The Cours Mirabeau is the heart of Aix, a grand avenue shaded by plane trees, with fountains and cafes where visitors can indulge in the leisurely "café culture" that defines the Provençal lifestyle. The street is a perfect blend of the city's love for the arts and its historical significance, with statues and fountains that tell tales of Aix's past.
Aix is also known for its thermal hot springs, discovered by the Romans, and the Thermes Sextius bathhouse is a place where visitors can enjoy a relaxing spa experience. The city's history can be further explored through its many museums and galleries, including the Musée Granet, which houses works by Cézanne and other artists.
The city's markets are a feast for the senses, offering a variety of fresh produce, flowers, textiles, and local crafts. The markets are not just a place to shop but also a way to experience the local culture and interact with the artisans and farmers of the region.
For those interested in the life and work of Cézanne, a visit to his studio, Atelier Cézanne, is a journey into the intimate space where he created many of his masterpieces. The surrounding countryside, with its Montagne Sainte-Victoire, provided a backdrop for many of his paintings and continues to be a draw for nature lovers and hikers.
Aix-en-Provence is also a city of festivals, with events throughout the year celebrating everything from music and dance to local traditions and gastronomy. The Festival d'Aix-en-Provence is one of the highlights, featuring opera and classical music performances that draw audiences from around the world.
With its combination of historical sites, cultural activities, natural beauty, and the relaxed pace of life, Aix-en-Provence offers a quintessentially French experience that is both enriching and delightful. It's a city that invites visitors to slow down, savor the moment, and immerse themselves in the art de vivre for which Provence is famous.
