The Porches region is famed for its stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, picturesque cliffs, rich cultural heritage, and a wide range of local restaurants and shops. Besides hiking along the coast to Benagil, other local attractions include the Nossa Senhora da Rocha chapel and the Algar Seco rock formation, which provides breathtaking views of the coast. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Neighbouring buildings overlook some of the outdoor areas. The pool features a shallow "beach" entry (25 cm deep), followed by a deeper section (1 m) after a few steps, and then gradually increases in depth up to 1.90 m. Solar panels help maintain the pool temperature, which is usually comfortable during the summer months. Additional heating is available upon request in advance for an extra fee (€). Internet is provided via satellite and does not offer fiber optic speeds. The property uses an ecological water heating system that serves the East and West wings consecutively. This means hot water is delivered to bathrooms in one wing at a time. The upstairs bedrooms are divided between the East and West wings, each with separate staircases and no internal access between them. Additional cleaning services are available upon request for an extra charge (€). A mandatory touristic tax per person, per night, applies to all reservations and is payable at check-in or check-out (please inquire for specific details).
