Welcome to LimeLight Lodge, a mountain retreat at 4,373 feet in elevation in the Eagles Nest community near Banner Elk, North Carolina. The home sits on a rare flat mountain property with space to move and play, along with walking access to the Camp Eagles Nest amenities and a location less than 15 minutes from Beech Mountain Resort. Guests enjoy comfortable indoor gathering spaces, an expansive covered deck with an outdoor fireplace and TV, and a beautiful front fire pit area with mountain views—perfect for gathering under the stars after a day of adventure. Reliable high-speed internet makes it easy to stay connected during your stay.
The home includes four sleeping areas and three bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to eight guests. The main living space features vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, large windows, and a gas fireplace, providing a comfortable place to relax after a day of skiing, hiking, or exploring the High Country. Original artwork from a North Carolina artist adds a local touch throughout the home. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and both drip and pod-style coffee makers, making it easy to start the day before heading out for mountain adventures.
One of the standout features of LimeLight Lodge is the rare flat mountain property surrounding the home. Unlike many mountain homes built on steep terrain, this property offers usable outdoor space where families can explore, play, and enjoy the natural setting of rocks, trees, and mountain landscape. The expansive covered back deck is designed for relaxing outdoors. Guests can gather around the outdoor gas fireplace while watching a game or movie on the outdoor TV. The Blackstone grill makes outdoor cooking easy, whether preparing breakfast before heading to the slopes or grilling dinner after a day of hiking. Out front, the fire pit area provides another fun gathering space for s’mores and evenings under the stars.
LimeLight Lodge is located less than 15 minutes from Beech Mountain Resort, making it convenient for skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking. The restaurants, shops, and wineries of Banner Elk are also a short drive away.
Whether you’re visiting for winter skiing, summer hiking, or fall foliage, LimeLight Lodge provides a comfortable and well-located home base for exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays. This is strictly enforced.
Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
Additional Notes:
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this property.
- Firewood for the firepit may be added more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night plus tax.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person
- 4WD or AWD vehicles are required for winter months.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an included amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Please note that the community of Eagles Nest has construction going on. Due to how sound travels, during weekdays you may hear heavy vehicles traveling on the development’s roads.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
