Upon entering the main floor of Sunset Manor, you and your guests will be swept up by the rich ambiance, plush furnishings, and elegant décor – not to mention the vaulted ceilings, great natural light, and fantastic lake views. The living room invites you to lay back in luxury and watch a movie or show in front of the cozy fireplace. Or if gathering around a kitchen island or a breakfast nook is your preferred jam, we’ve got you covered! The super-spacious Chef’s Kitchen – with its premier appliances and all you need to cook up delicious vacation meals or snacks – includes a chic center island and a charming breakfast nook, either one being perfect for morning coffee dialogues or thoughts about what’s next on your vacation agenda. Both sport amazing views of windswept Lake Michigan. By the way, that stone-top center island also comes with an extra-wide built-in gas stove. Ooh-la-la! When you want to share a formal meal together, the sumptuous dining room beckons with a custom hardwood dining table that seats 10. There’s also a ‘most excellent’ 3-season sunroom on the main floor, where you can read a favorite book, drink a favorite beverage, or simply spend time gazing out at the vast expanse of the lake to your heart’s content.
On the downstairs floor, you and your guests will find R-and-R comes easy, with a posh Recreation Room highlighted by a top-of-the-line ping-pong table, Foosball table, flat-screen TV, a gorgeous bar with a pro wine cooler, and a super-sleek fireplace – plus easy access to the way-nice patio, hot tub, and more superb Lake Michigan views! And if you’re more inclined to sit and sip a glass of wine, there’s a spacious, lushly furnished family room adjacent to the Rec Room, providing plenty of seating options for chilling out with fellow guests. There’s also a laundry room on the main floor with a washer-dryer combo and everything to meet your and your guests’ laundering needs.
Once outside, your vacation will immediately jump to a whole ‘nother level! From a fabulous swimming pool with a custom slide, diving board, and lots of reclining chaise lounges and two patio dining sets, to the main floor’s wraparound exterior deck boasting cushy rattan chairs, to the super-chill sunset deck down toward the lake – oh, didn’t we mention there’s over 100 feet of lakefront down a flight of wooden stairs? – to the gloriously landscaped grounds and huge lawn, which kids young and old love to romp around on. And of course, don’t forget to unwind in the inviting hot tub after a day of adventure. Yes, you and your guests will be in 7th heaven while lounging about and relaxing in the Great Outdoors at Sunset Manor!
Besides the fact that you and your family or friends will be vacationing in an opulent, truly exceptional lakefront home, you can also enjoy taking full advantage of the many activities afforded by the region’s largest recreational harbor – with boat, jet-ski, kayak, and paddleboard rentals available, plus fishing excursions or dining cruises – and all sorts of nearby woodland, lake, and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore, especially the highly popular Warren Dunes State Park, with its 2,000 acres of spectacular sand dunes, excellent lakeshore beaches, and nationally recognized birdwatching opportunities. You’ll also be super-near the many excellent restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo. To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.
All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home’s Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.
The minimum age to rent this home is 25.
Maximum occupancy is limited to 16 guests only.
The pool is seasonal and will be open from Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day. Specific Open and closure dates are scheduled by the local pool vendor.
A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
