Located in Union Pier, these exquisite cottages blend rustic charm and modern elegance for an unforgettable stay. From open-concept living spaces filled with natural light to cozy bedrooms that serve as serene retreats, each element has been thoughtfully designed to elevate your experience. Enjoy the convenience of modern amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, an in-unit washer/dryer, and a dishwasher, all perfectly balanced by timeless accents like shiplap walls, gas log fireplaces, and vintage artifacts.
While The Townie Cottages is a community development of 4 cottages, each unit is its own separate building and private space. Upon entering The Moss, guests will find the 2-bedroom, 1-bath residence with a welcoming open floor plan showcasing the exquisite palette of Kate Marker’s furnishings, which provide the utmost in cottage luxury. The living area has a sofa with additional side chairs that face the gas log fireplace. Directly behind the living area is the kitchen, featuring a large island with seating. A stack washer/dryer is tucked away in a closet. There is one bathroom located off the main living space, which has a large walk-in shower and a double vanity. The primary bedroom has a queen bed. The large secondary bedroom consists of twin-over-twin bunk beds and 2 additional single beds.
Guests will have their own private outdoor space with a deck/patio area. This outdoor living space has a Fuego grill and dining set and wraps around to the unit’s private hot tub, outdoor shower, and parking/charging space for a rented golf cart. Additionally, each unit will have 2 parking spaces located at the front of the development.
This cottage is part of the Townie Cottages Resort, a private community of 4 separate homes that share a 20’ x 40’ inground pool, a communal fire pit, and easy access to the serene beaches of Lake Michigan. To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.
All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home’s Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The pool is seasonal and will be open from Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day. Specific Open and closure dates are scheduled by the local pool vendor.
Pets are not allowed at this property.
A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
