KITCHEN:
The fully equipped kitchen is designed for easy, comfortable stays. You’ll find everything you need to prepare meals, including cookware, utensils, a blender, and a drip coffee maker. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, salt, and pepper are provided.
Blue Crush proudly partners with Nellie’s, a B.C.-made, biodegradable cleaning brand. Here you’ll find Nellie’s dish soap, dishwasher detergent , and a gentle, fragrance-free cleaning spray for quick cleanups.
COFFEE + TEA:
Enjoy a starter supply of freshly roasted coffee beans from Foggy Bean, our local roaster, brewed with a drip coffee maker and reusable filter. Tea lovers can unwind with an organic loose leaf Breakfast blend from Ucluelet Thay Tea.
LIVING + DINING ROOM:
The open-concept living space features soaring 10-foot ceilings, a cozy gas fireplace, and expansive ocean views from nearly every angle. Relax on the comfortable sofa bed, enjoy cable TV, or simply watch the waves roll in.
The dining table seats eight, making it perfect for shared meals with a spectacular waterfront backdrop.

Primary Bedroom:
King bed, ocean views, patio access, private propane fireplace, and a spa-like ensuite with double vanity and walk-in shower.
Second Bedroom:
King bed with a private ensuite bathroom featuring a relaxing jetted soaker tub.
Third Bedroom:
Twin bunk beds — ideal for kids or additional guests. (Please note: this bedroom is on the smaller side and does not have a window)
Additional Sleeping:
Queen sofa bed in the living room.
BATHROOMS: 3
Two full ensuite bathrooms ensure comfort and privacy for all guests. Each is stocked with fresh towels and Carina Organics shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap — locally made in Vancouver and gentle on sensitive skin. The other bathroom is a guest half bathroom, located off the entrance hallway.
LAUNDRY:
In-suite washer and dryer are provided, stocked with unscented, ocean-safe Nellie’s Laundry Soap. No dryer sheets are used for environmental and skin-friendly reasons.
PETIQUETTE:
Pet-friendly (1 dog maximum). We may be able to accommodate a second dog upon request. Cats are also welcome with prior approval.
Pet fees are $50 CAD per dog and $100 CAD per cat, plus applicable taxes.
Dog towels, a small bed, and bowls are provided for your stay.
To help us maintain the home and respect the surrounding environment, pets are not permitted on furniture and must not disturb or chase wildlife, including shorebirds.
All pets must be well trained and securely kenneled when left unattended in the unit to prevent damage.
Additional guidelines are provided in the house manual and must be followed at all times.
OUTDOORS:
Step onto the spacious private patio and take in uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, sunset drinks, or simply soaking in the sound of the waves. A propane BBQ is available for outdoor cooking.
ACCESSIBILITY:
This is a single-level suite. To reach the front door, there are 7 steps down with handrails on both sides.
INTERACTION:
Big Beach Escape offers easy, independent check-in. Please note this unit is apart of a condominium complex, so other guests and noises are to be expected. You’ll receive a detailed Welcome Guide prior to arrival, and Blue Crush Vacation Rentals is available by text or phone should you need anything during your stay.
LOCATION:
Directly across from Big Beach and perched above the Wild Pacific Trail, this condo offers unbeatable access to nature. Amphitrite Point Lighthouse, the Ucluelet Community Centre, skate park, and the new cycling path to Tofino are all nearby. Downtown Ucluelet is just a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive, with excellent restaurants, cafés, and shops.

GETTING AROUND UCLUELET & TOFINO:
Getting around is part of the adventure! The scenic Multi-Use Path (MUP) runs through town and is perfect for walking, biking, jogging, or strolling.
PUBLIC TRANSIT:
Hop on the West Coast Transit bus for easy travel between Tofino and Ucluelet (and stops along the West Coast). It runs seven days a week with frequent service—and you can find routes, maps, and the full schedule on BC Transit- West Coast.
Other easy options include:
• Bike & e-bike rentals for cruising town and trails
• Rideshare via the Coastal Rides app and Tofino Taxi (limited drivers)
• Pre-arranged private shuttles (Tiki Bus, Pacific Rim Navigators) for larger groups
• Rental cars, including Budget and EVO (pre-arranged airport pickup)
INSURANCE:
For direct bookings, this property is protected by TRUVI a trusted guest verification platform similar to OTA AirCover. After booking, you’ll receive a verification request from TRUVI, which must be completed prior to check-in.
BOOKING POLICIES:
- Bookings are subject to a cleaning fee plus GST, PST and MRDT (Municipal) tax.
- During the peak summer season (June 15 – Sept 15), houses have a 3 night minimum (or more) stay must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you book and create a one night gap, we will contact you to shuffle the reservation ahead.
- Mid-season rates apply on Winter long weekends and during Christmas.
- 3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays
- 5-10% discount for 7 nights or more not during peak season; reach out for it to be applied
- Cancellation: 100% refund less $50 cancellation fee plus GST if cancelled more than 30 days before arrival. Non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of check-in. Both OTA and OTA state slightly different as they are pre set options; this policy takes precedence.
- Direct Booking Damage Deposit: A damage deposit of $300 is held at check-in and released five business days after check-out, provided no damage occurs.
-Nightly rate includes up to 4 guests. For reservations with more than 4 guests, an additional fee of $25 per night, per extra guest applies. This helps cover increased utility usage, linens, and wear on the home.
