Most clubs here operate on a minimum consumption: a set food-and-drink spend that stands in for entry. It’s standard here, and amounts vary by club. Through October, many waive or ease minimums entirely; in high season, they firm up. The app maps it out ahead of time, so there’s nothing to negotiate on the sand. Outside food and drink aren’t permitted — everything comes from the club’s kitchen. For a free option, there are public beach access points and a small handful of Tulum hotels keep public beach access open.
