The sunny Kona Coast is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and rich Hawaiian history. Visit cherished landmarks like Hulihe‘e Palace, Moku‘aikaua Church, and Ahu‘ena Heiau—just 8 miles south of the Kona International Airport.
Kona is a world-class destination for deep-sea fishing, home to the annual International Billfish Tournament in August and the legendary IRONMAN World Championship in October. The cooler upland slopes are famous for producing the region’s celebrated Kona coffee.
