Within easy walking or biking distance to Ngarunui Beach, local cafés, and scenic walking tracks, the cottage is ideally positioned for both adventure and downtime. The home is well equipped with bikes, surf gear, a fully appointed kitchen, wood fire, Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace—perfect for guests who need to stay connected during their stay. Located just over Raglan’s iconic one-lane bridge on the surf side of town, Raglan West Cottage is a welcoming, beach-inspired retreat that keeps you close to the action while offering a comfortable place to unwind. With its easygoing charm, the cottage is well suited to couples, solo travellers, or small families seeking convenience, comfort, and coastal character. Everything is within easy reach. Ngarunui Beach is just a five-minute drive or scenic bike ride away, while local cafés, playgrounds, and the inner harbour are an easy stroll. The cottage also sits on the main route to Raglan’s highlights, including world-class surf breaks and popular mountain bike trails. The home is thoughtfully equipped for both relaxation and adventure, featuring: Bikes and surf gear for exploring land and sea A fully equipped kitchen with two ovens, ideal for families and keen cooks A wood-burning fireplace for cosy evenings Complimentary Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace with desk, monitor, and keyboard for guests working remotely Please note: the property is located on Raglan’s main coastal road. While this provides excellent access to the area, traffic noise can be heard during the day and night, which may not suit light sleepers. Whether you’re here to surf, explore town, or simply slow down and enjoy the coastal atmosphere, Raglan West Cottage offers a comfortable and well-located base for your Raglan stay. Spread out and relax — the whole property is yours to enjoy. Make yourself at home, unwind at your own pace, and settle into the laidback Raglan rhythm. We are available via platform messaging, phone, email or text and are happy to assist. Sorry, no pets allowed. All linen and towels are included in the nightly rate, excluding beach towels, these are not provided. Guest stays longer than 5 nights will be provided with additional bathroom linen for use during your stay. For reservations longer than 10 days, on request, additional bed linen can be provided for you to change at your convenience. Our team will collect any dirty linen at a mutually agreed time. All reservations include an end of stay cleaning fee. Sufficient cleaning products and equipment will be available at the property for use during your stay should you need it. We do not offer mid-stay cleaning services unless this has been pre-arranged at the time of booking and we have capacity in our cleaning schedule to book this in. All additional cleaning services including mid-stay bed making will incur additional costs. We have a zero tolerance for unauthorised parties or events and you will be asked to vacate the property if there is reason for us to suspect guest misconduct. Rubbish - an allowance has been made for 1x full blue rubbish bag. Additional rubbish must be taken with you or dropped at a local refuse disposal station (details in house info folder) or an additional charge of $25 per bag will be applied for disposal. Recycling - an allowance for 1x full recycling bin has been made per stay. Additional recycling must be taken with you or an additional charge of $25 per box will be applied for disposal. Electric Vehicle Charging- We are unable to accommodate electrical vehicle charging at the property, there is a fast charging station location around the town hall on Bow Street.
