Bluestone Court is a well-appointed private mountain retreat on 2+ wooded acres at the base of Supinlick Ridge. While cozy and inviting inside, this property exemplifies outdoor living featuring a private swimming pool and sunbathing deck, hot tub, fire pit area, and covered outdoor living room complete with gas grill, flattop grill, sectional sofa, fire table and TV. A wide driveway and parking area easily accommodates four vehicles. Although this cabin is in a remote location, it’s only 4.5 miles into the town of Basye with comforts such as Smiley’s Ice Cream, Burn Barrel tavern, Pale Fire Brewing, and the Community Store (gas pumps). For those seeking year-round outdoor activities and additional dining, Bryce Resort is just 1.5 miles beyond Basye.
Please review the listing photos carefully. Many features of this traditional mountain cabin have been updated with modern amenities, but it retains a classy rustic charm. With two separate private living levels and huge outdoor entertaining area, it’s a perfect location for families and groups that desire private outdoor relaxation!
FEATURES & AMENITIES:
Access Bluestone Court’s main level up 13 steps to the upper side deck. Enter into the great room with vaulted ceilings featuring an open kitchen with island, a dining area, and a living room with a stone wood-burning fireplace, large ceiling fan, and Smart TV above the mantle. The kitchen has ample counter space, custom cabinets, a beautiful hammered-copper farm-style sink, stainless steel appliances, basic cookware, tableware, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The dining area seats six at the table and another three at the kitchen bar. Rounding out the main floor, guests will enjoy the large primary bedroom with king bed, a second bedroom with queen bed, a den with trundle bed, and a full bathroom with walk-in custom tile shower. The hallway closet contains a full size laundry center. The main level sleeps six comfortably.
Access Bluestone Court’s lower level via the gravel walkway, then down three steps to the entry door, which opens into a large living area. This relaxing space features a comfy sectional sofa, large Smart TV, shuffleboard table, stand-up Ms. Pac-Man arcade game, and a kitchenette with microwave, air fryer, mini-fridge, and drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The living area opens to the spacious covered, open-air outdoor living room via sliding glass door. Down the short hallway are two bedrooms, both with queen beds, and a full bathroom. The lower level sleeps four comfortably.
This property’s grand, private outdoor living spaces makes it truly unique! Situated at the back of the house, opposite the road and surrounded by forest, the huge, covered outdoor living room features a large sectional sofa, fire table, Smart TV, outdoor dining for six, two ceiling fans, a gas grill, a gas Blackstone flattop grill, and a large cooler for your favorite beverages. Off the living area to the right is a large smokeless fire pit and comfy Adirondack chairs. Off the living area to the left is a private pool and large pool deck with sun loungers and a hot tub. This is your own private resort in the mountains! The hot tub is available year-round, while the pool will be open between approximately May 15 and September 15. If you’re considering a stay around pool opening and closing times, please contact us to confirm the pool’s availability.
Bluestone Court is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.
All flat screen Smart TVs allow guests to log into popular streaming apps, and 350+mbps fiber optic WiFi internet is sufficient for pretty much anything you can imagine doing online.

This is a Self-Check-In property. You’ll receive check-in instructions seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property’s address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information. Your unique key code will access both the main level and lower level Smart Locks.
This property is located in a remote mountainous area on a gravel road. We recommend all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicles when winter weather has recently occurred or threatens.
Power outages are infrequent, but not uncommon. Please consider purchasing travel insurance as acts of nature and other things out of our control are an occasional part of the mountain living experience.
This property has a propane gas grill, a propane Blackstone flattop grill, two propane fire tables, and a stainless steel smokeless fire pit.
This property has a private (unheated) pool and an outdoor hot tub.
This property has a detached garage, which is locked for owner’s use only.
This property has baseboard heating in the cool months and window/portable air conditioners in warm months. We install the air conditioners in mid-April and remove them to storage in mid-October. During the spring and fall, guests will enjoy open windows and clean mountain breezes.
Firewood is available year-round in the woodshed near the front fence.
Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly encouraged - please help keep our mountains peaceful and tranquil.
