Built in the 1930’s, this may be the last remaining original Dutch Colonial in Carmel. Situated where the avenue ends to secure a peek of the ocean, the original owner (and there have only been three!) paid meticulous attention to every detail. Every inch of this home has been lovingly redecorated. Come enjoy the stunning mix of old and new, all within walking distance to town and the beach! Living Space Enter the home from the spacious yard and inviting front porch into the main living area. The living room is furnished with a beautiful new sectional and chair and boasts a separate reading space, gas fireplace with decorative trim, ample natural light, original hardwood floors, and a 65” Smart TV. Kitchen and Dining Adjacent to the living room is the dining area with seating for 6 and the galley kitchen. The kitchen has tile countertops, double basin sink, all new appliances (5-burner gas range, oven, French door refrigerator, microwave), intricate tiled floor, and the washer and dryer. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Upstairs: Bead board walls line a flight of hardwood stairs that lead to the second level. Bedroom #1 has a king bed. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed. Sleeping space #3 is a bonus room with a twin bed, nightstand and dresser. It does not have a closet. The full hall bathroom on this upper level has a shower-over-claw foot bathtub. Downstairs: Bedroom #4 has a twin daybed and an optional pull-out twin trundle, and an en suite bathroom with a standing shower. Parking for two cars in the driveway. The garage is not available for guest parking but can be used to store golf clubs, etc. Sorry, this home is not pet friendly. This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner.
