The island is a sanctuary for sea birds, the balconies provide views of many species and the lagoons are host to alligators, fish, crabs and other wildlife. A 4-seater golf cart is included for you to use to cruise the island. Hunting Island state park is less than a 10 minute drive, where you can explore the 2 different beaches, the Lighthouse, Nature Center and more! If you’d like to explore something other than natural beaches, historic Beaufort, South Carolina is just minutes away. As well as both historic Charleston, SC (90 minutes away) and Savannah, GA (an hour away).
