9 Chantry Road is a well-presented, comfortable property with generous living space, modern features, and a practical layout, ideal for both short breaks and longer stays in Suffolk.
Living Areas
The property is entered via a welcoming central hallway. To the right, the living room is a bright and inviting space, enhanced by bay windows. Bi-fold doors connect the living room to the dining area, allowing the space to be opened up seamlessly for entertaining.
Kitchen and Utility
The dining area flows naturally into a modern, well-appointed kitchen with vaulted ceilings and contemporary fittings throughout. The kitchen is equipped with an Elica electric hob featuring an integrated, hob-level extractor fan, removing the need for an overhead unit and creating a clean, uncluttered look. Just off the kitchen is a practical utility area with a washing machine, additional storage and a ground-floor WC. Please note that the utility room is not heated; therefore, the adjoining cloakroom with toilet does not benefit from heating.
Bedrooms and Bathroom
Upstairs, the accommodation comprises a comfortable double bedroom and a generously sized king bedroom. There is also a charming library nook with a sofa. The bathroom is finished to a high standard and includes a freestanding bath alongside a separate walk-in shower.
Additional Features
The property benefits from private parking on the driveway, with space for up to two small to medium-sized cars, and offers good, reliable Wi-Fi throughout, making it well suited to both leisure stays and guests working remotely. Please note that the garage is not included as part of the listing. The neighbouring property retains access through the shared garage in order to reach their garden; this area does not form part of the accommodation, and guests will not need to enter or pass through the garage or tunnel at any time. Guest use is limited solely to the driveway for parking.

The town itself boasts a rich history, with its market having been established in the 13th century. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll down the High Street, lined with independent shops, cozy cafes, and traditional pubs, where they can sample local ales and Suffolk specialties.
