Set in the tranquil surroundings of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park, Grace Louise Retreat is a beautifully designed two bedroom, two bathroom lodge offering a luxurious countryside escape. Sleeping up to six guests, it provides the perfect setting for families, couples, or friends to relax and recharge in comfort and style. The open plan living area is elegant and inviting, decorated in warm neutral tones with soft furnishings that create a calm, homely atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and everything you need for a self catered stay, while the spacious dining area is perfect for shared meals and relaxed evenings together. The lounge features plush seating, a Smart TV, and large doors that open onto the private terrace. Outside, the terrace is a peaceful retreat where you can unwind in the luxurious hot tub or enjoy outdoor dining and drinks in the fresh air. Whether it is a quiet morning coffee or a soak under the stars, this space offers the ideal setting for relaxation. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed and en suite bathroom, while the second bedroom provides twin beds ideal for friends or family. A second modern bathroom ensures convenience for all guests, and the sofa bed in the living area offers additional sleeping space if required. Grace Louise Retreat is also pet friendly, so your four legged companions can join you on your getaway. With beautiful walking routes, golf, and scenic lakes right on your doorstep, this lodge offers the perfect balance of nature, comfort, and modern luxury. Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date. Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay. There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times. Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us. Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site. All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ’s Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children’s Play Park Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park is ideally located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside, offering easy access by road, rail, or bus, while being just a short drive from the historic city of York. The park sits just off the A1079, around two miles from the charming market town of Pocklington and approximately thirteen miles east of York city centre. Guests travelling from the north or south can reach the park via the A1(M) and A64, with free on-site parking available, adding convenience and flexibility when exploring the local area. For those arriving by train, York Railway Station is the nearest mainline hub, offering frequent direct services from major cities including London, Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh. From the station, the park is around a 25–30 minute drive, with taxis and car hire readily available. Regular bus services also operate between York and Pocklington via East Yorkshire Buses, and from Pocklington it’s just a short five-minute taxi ride or a pleasant countryside walk to the park. Locally, guests will find a range of shops, cafés, and restaurants in nearby Pocklington, along with beautiful open spaces like Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve, perfect for walking and cycling. The city of York is easily reachable for day trips, offering world-famous attractions such as York Minster, The Shambles, and Clifford’s Tower. Whether you’re travelling by car, train, or bus, Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park is easy to reach and perfectly placed to enjoy both the peace of the countryside and the culture of one of England’s most historic cities.
