Area Attractions:
*Seaside is a fantastic destination, most widely known for being featured in The Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Its incredible architecture has helped to make it famous, but also its faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has its own Farmer’s Market, post office, Repertory Theater, and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine, and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous.
*Greenway Station is 30A’s newest destination for gathering, shopping, and dining in Seagrove Beach. Greenway Station features known retailers Wild Olives Tapas and Wine Bar, Pecan Jack’s Ice Cream, Coast Hippie, and YOLO Board + Bike, plus introduces Local Cantina Mexican Restaurant, Souper Jenny Coffee Roasters, Canopy Road Café, and more.
*The Big Chill, formerly The Hub30A is one of 30A’s outdoor “Food & Fun” complexes with a variety of yummy eats, tasty libations and some great boutiques. Totally family and pet friendly, you can enjoy the big game or family movie night on their outdoor big screen and maybe even some live music! Drop by for a bite, some cocktails and delicious ice cream, plus the fun, of course. Only 5 mins drive from Herons Watch.
*Eastern Lake is a rare, 62-acre coastal dune lake located in Santa Rosa Beach (specifically the Seagrove Beach area) situated along the Scenic Highway 30A corridor. It is a shallow, brackish body of water that periodically opens to the Gulf of Mexico, serving as a popular, serene spot for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and birdwatching. A coastal dune lake is ecologically significant and only naturally occurs in a few places worldwide. Eastern Lake is visible from 30A as you drive towards the Herons Watch community.
*Sea Turtle Reef is perfect for snorkelers in your group. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, this beautiful artificial reef is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often.
Overall, 30A is a fantastic destination where beaches are some of the world’s best with sugary white sand and emerald-green waters.
