Welcome to ’The Getaway’. One of Nashville’s finest retreats. Located North of Nashville on a privately gated 50 acres! This Log Cabin is the perfect place to “get away” for both small & large gatherings alike. Enjoy comfortable beds to sleep up to 16, a gourmet kitchen, spacious areas to dine together, an incredible games room & a full wrap-around porch. The center piece of this stunning cabin is the large stack stone fireplace that rises from floor to ceiling & the incredible wagon wheel designed chandelier that hangs overhead. Seamlessly flow from one room to another as you enjoy time together as a group with this open floor plan. If you are planning to hunker down & cook in during your stay then the kitchen will not disappoint. The 6 burner Viking professional range with double ovens & griddle is every chef’s dream. The ceramic farmhouse sink & large island with butcher block countertop invites discussion & companionship for multiple cooks to share the workload…
All of the bedrooms are splendidly appointed with all linens / towels included & feature breathtaking views all around. A few steps from the main cabin lies a vast detached building that has been wonderfully converted to a games haven. Featuring Ping Pong, Foosball, Darts Board, Fireplace, Seating, Big Screen TV, Tandem Basketball Shooter, Poker Table, Corn Hole Boards, Giant Connect Four and more…
Grab a mug of coffee in the morning & watch the sun rise over the tree tops or share stories together around the fire pit at night as the sun goes down & the stars come out in force!
You will be able to call and text us during your stay if something comes up. Please understand the we do not live onsite though so if something is needed, we will make every effort to accommodate but an immediate remedy is not always possible.
This Log Cabin is situated on the rear 5 acres of 50 acres of rolling pastureland. You can run around and play and likely enjoy the numerous visits of local wildlife such as deer and turkey.
** Please note that no heavy trailers and/or equipment are permitted at the home **
If you plan to leave the comfort of this sanctuary to visit Nashville, then you are a 40 minute drive or Uber/Lyft from Downtown.
The closest boat ramp if you intend to take your boat out on Old Hickory Lake is 15 mins away or closer to 25 mins to a Marina that you can rent a boat from. If you are a guest attending one of the several wedding venues in the area then 2 of the largest venues located at Long Hollow Nurseries or Bagsby Ranch are both just 12 minutes away.
