Beginning September 2, 2025, The Plantation Course and The Bay Course will be closed for 60 days as we work to restore turf health after prolonged irrigation restrictions. This decision was not made lightly. While water restrictions have recently been downgraded to Tier 2, the prolonged period under Tier 4 – zero irrigation – caused significant stress and damage to the courses. Closing at this time will allow us to begin careful recovery and restoration so the courses may once again meet the standards of safety and playability our guests deserve. Under the current Tier 2 restrictions, which allows for 60% irrigation, our team is making every effort to restore golf course conditions to the highest level to host The Sentry PGA Tournament in January 2026. Due to Maui’s rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. **We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. By booking your stay with us, you accept that Host is not liable for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, electricity, air conditioning or plumbing that is beyond their control.
