Your cabin puts you right in the heart of Garden City — a place where there’s always something fun to do. For starters, you’re just a short drive (or ride) from the sparkling waters of Bear Lake. Whether you’re into kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), sailing, swimming, or just lounging by the shore, the lake offers something for everyone.
If you’d rather stay on land, you can head to the charming local spot Garden City Pond — a peaceful pond surrounded by a paved walking path, a small dock for fishing, and a kid-friendly play area. Great for a leisurely stroll, a relaxing picnic, or some quiet fishing time.
Garden City has its own share of foodie favorites. Locals and visitors alike love the raspberry shakes and classic-style burgers at spots such as LaBeau’s Drive-In and Hometown Drive-In — staples for a fun, laid-back meal after a day out on the water or trails.
For entertainment beyond dining, you can visit Pickleville Playhouse. This beloved local theater mixes live shows with dinner-theater charm, offering a fun and unique night out. Perfect for families or groups looking for memorable evenings.
There are multi-use bike paths, hiking trails, and outdoor recreation all around. If the water calls, rentals are available around the lake. In winter, you can even enjoy snow-related activities like snowmobiling or skiing nearby — making this area a year-round destination.
Our cabin is conveniently located right off Garden City’s bike path. As parking in town can be difficult during summer season, especially if you’re trailering a boat, feel free to keep your vehicles parked at the cabin and instead move about town by bike, scooter, or a leisurely walk.
Snowy conditions are common in our area during winter, and we want to help you prepare. Here are our recommendations from December through the end of March, or whenever snow is present.:
- 4WD Vehicles Required: These are best suited for navigating snowy and icy roads.
- Snow Chains: Bringing snow chains is recommended, especially for added safety in severe conditions.
- Check Weather & Road Conditions
HOA arrange for snow removal services to clear the driveway at properties where it’s required. However, please note that road access to the property is dependent on county snow removal services, which may experience delays during heavy snowfall.
Please note that we are not responsible for transportation issues due to weather or road conditions. Refunds will not be provided for weather-related challenges, and guests are responsible for any towing or additional transportation expenses they may incur. If you’re concerned about potential weather impacts, we strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your travel investment.
