Mill Cottage is a spacious, well-equipped detached barn conversion on a working sheep farm, sleeping up to 6 guests plus a cot, and rated 4-star Gold for self-catering by Visit England. The three bedrooms are all on the ground floor: a spacious master with a king-sized double bed, feature arched doorway to the garden and en-suite shower room and toilet; a bunk-bedded room also with an arched doorway to the garden; and a twin room with an exposed wooden beam and arched window, where the twin beds can be zipped together into a super-king on request. A newly fitted family bathroom is also on the ground floor, with an additional toilet upstairs. Upstairs, to make the most of the stunning views, is the living and dining space with a wood-burning stove, TV, DVD and CD player/radio, and free wifi throughout. The newly fitted kitchen-diner has an Aga, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer, with dual-aspect windows overlooking farmland. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request (bedding for the cot not included). Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided, along with a welcome supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cake and basic cleaning materials. Electricity, heating and wifi are included, with oil-fired central heating, a cosy wood-burner and logs supplied. An EV charging point is available. The property is strictly non-smoking. Outside there is a large lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, plus ample parking directly outside the cottage. One well-behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement for a supplementary fee, with a stock-free field nearby for exercise, though dogs are not permitted on furniture or beds and should not be left alone in the property. Equestrian facilities, including modern stabling and turnout paddocks, are available on a DIY basis from March to October for an additional charge.
