Explore Voyageur National Park, just a short 5 minute boat ride from Rainy Retreat, or a 10 minute car ride to the Voyageur National Park Visitors Center. Also, just a short 5 minute boat ride away are several lodges offering boat gas, food and drinks. For the ultimate Rainy Lake/Voyageur National Park adventure, consider boating to Kettle Falls or into Rainer for an ice cream cone, locally brewed beer at Loony's, or a delicious cocktail/mocktail at the Cantilever Distillery.
World class fishing also awaits those interested in trying their luck on Rainy Lake's famous walleye and small mouth bass. We can put you in contact with local fishing guides as well!
