A magical retreat surrounded by 150-year-old redwoods can be discovered at Hearthwood. Nestled on an acre of land, this uniquely built cabin boasts the perfect blend of quirky architecture, redwood accents, and creature comforts.
Relax on Hearthwood’s large deck or balcony and listen to the pleasant chirps of the birds, or soak in the outdoor clawfoot soaking tub and breathe in the fresh forest air.
Inside, the loving curated interior showcases utter warmth. Throw a log on the wood stove and cozy up on the soft seating in the living room. When you get hungry, the well-equipped kitchen is composed of updated appliances, wooden countertops, and plenty of cookware.
Shrouded in natural light and lined with soft linens, the sleeping arrangements are equally tranquil. Ensuring you can unplug but not completely disconnect, Hearthwood is equipped with high-speed WiFi. A private washer/dryer ties together the cabin’s modern conveniences.
End your evenings with a soak in the two-person shower before enjoying excellent stargazing opportunities from the private yard. Located just a mile from downtown Fort Bragg, convenience is never far, and your exploration of nearby beaches, restaurants, and hiking trails is easy.
<b>Things to Know</b>
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
There are two cabins on the property, the larger of the two with the red front door is Hearthwood. Guests have a private fenced-in backyard that is perfect for pets. The other cabin is occasionally occupied by the homeowners on the weekends.
Those with small children or mobility restrictions should be aware that there is a steep staircase to access the upstairs.
This home is not equipped with air-conditioning. There is a small in-wall heater downstairs along with the wood stove. There is also a portable heater in the upstairs closet for guests to use. Firewood is supplied and accessible on the front porch and the owner has stocked kindling in the inside container.
Check-in Form: To ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, we kindly require completion of our short check-in form after booking. This includes signing our standard rental agreement and verifying guest and payment information. It only takes a few minutes and helps us prepare the home for your arrival.
Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs (50 lbs or under). A nightly pet fee applies and all pets must be disclosed at booking. Pets may not be left unattended unless crated, must stay off furniture, and guests are responsible for cleanup and reporting any damage. Undeclared pets or excessive mess may result in additional fees.
