Brighton Sunflower Chalet
This beautiful, four-bedroom home boasts a timeless appeal, perfectly located in the town of Brighton and just steps away from the Brighton Ski lifts. This home has a full kitchen, a dining area, a living room, two lower-level bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a bunk room, and two upstairs bedrooms with amazing views of the ski hills and mountains. A large entryway is located in the front of the home while an extra mudroom is located in the back. Both areas are convenient for luggage and equipment storage, any time of year. Step out your door and walk to the chair lift. You will be the first one each day to jump into world-famous Utah powder at the iconic Brighton Ski Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon. This home is right across the parking lot from the ski resort and lifts and close to the bus route.
THINGS TO KNOW:
-Open parking with no garage. Maximum of 3 vehicles. DO NOT BLOCK THE CIRCLE, as it is shared, and you might be towed at the guest’s expense. A low-clearance vehicle might have a hard time as the home sits at the top of the mountain.
-4WD/traction is required during winter. From Nov 1- Apr 15 be aware that the UT Department of Transportation & Town of Brighton rules about canyon travel require snow tires (3PMSF) or chains to make it safely up the canyon and to the home.
-There is no incidental camping permitted at the Short-term rental which means no overnight camping, sleeping in tents, travel trailers, or recreation vehicles parked on the short-term rental property.
-Quiet hours in the Town of Brighton are 10 pm-7 am.
-Due to the hazard of wild animals, no trash or recycling can be left outdoors. Please place trash and recycling in the proper dumpsters as soon as possible. Please observe recycling protocols.
-The Home is located in a protected watershed supplying drinking water to The salt lakeValley. Dogs/pets & other animals are strictly prohibited, enforced by the law enforcement and Forest service officials. Service animals as defined by the ADA are the only exception.
-Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest’s stay.
-Security camera details: There is an active surveillance camera looking out over the back porch.
