Beautifully tucked among the evergreens alongside the Wilson River, this waterfront lodge is just the ticket for experiencing Oregon’s natural wonders. Spend your days wading in the river, driving out to the coast, and hiking through state forestland. Then when evening rolls around, tell stories around the firepit under a star-speckled sky.
This riverfront lodge sits on the north bank of the Wilson River, with a lovely path leading from the expansive yard to the water’s edge. Tillamook State Forest surrounds the property, giving you easy access to nearby hiking trails from the Wilson River Highway. If you’re looking to head out to the coast, it’s only 11 miles to Tillamook and 20 miles to Oceanside Beach. Or embark on the scenic drive along the Three Capes Scenic Route to Cape Meares, Cape Lookout, and Cape Kiwanda. Not to mention, fishing enthusiasts will love casting a line at any of the local fishing holes nearby.
Begin and end each day in the tranquil outdoor spaces, basking in the quiet seclusion provided by the evergreen forest. Enjoy classic, covered porches on both sides of the lodge, an enormous plush yard with space for lawn games, and a firepit for cozy gatherings during sunset. Don’t forget the s’mores!
Inside, the house exudes a luxurious log cabin ambiance, from the vaulted ceiling to the natural wood adorning almost every surface. The great room brings together an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area, and an inviting living room - all oriented around a wood-burning fireplace and a swiveling smart TV. A den awaits in the upstairs loft, providing a great spot to stream movies, play tabletop foosball, or log onto the WiFi at the desk.
The large primary suite is on the main floor, offering its own smart TV and bathroom with both a jetted tub and shower. The three guest rooms are upstairs.
