Welcome to Skyrise at Eagles Nest, where the layered Blue Ridge Mountain views of your dreams are all yours, even without leaving the house.
Skyrise combines three of the best parts of Eagles Nest – majestic high-altitude panoramic views, privacy and solitude with mature hardwoods and soaring boulders on a 2.4 acre estate lot, and the convenience of a front-side location close to Great Camp and downtown Banner Elk. You won’t believe that there’s a property with these high-elevation, multi-state views that still allows you easy access into town.
Perched high atop a cul-de-sac with unobstructed views spanning more than 200 degrees, Skyrise lets you look out over Grandfather Mountain to the east and layered peaks all the way to Tennessee to the west. The colors of the morning sunrise light the mountains beneath you and the sunsets set the sky on fire every evening.
Inside you can revel in your elevated luxury retreat, professionally designed with high end furnishings and features. The impressive great room greets you with a soaring wall of windows and massive glass sliders. Vaulted ceilings draw attention to the tongue and groove details and architectural beams as well as the dramatic natural stone and ghostwood gas fireplace that define the main level.
Seamlessly flowing from the living area is the spacious chef’s kitchen that features stunning platinum quartzite countertops, an oversized island perfect for hosting, a breakfast and coffee bar, and premium appliances including a 36” professional range and dual dishwashers so dishes never need to wait on the counter for space. Indoor/outdoor living is natural at Skyrise, with direct access from the kitchen to the expansive deck’s covered living area, alongside a full-sized outdoor dining table and a Weber Genesis gas grill.
The main level primary king suite is a modern/rustic sanctuary with direct deck access, plentiful sunshine and views, and a spa-worthy ensuite showcasing heated tile floors, standalone soaking tub, fully tiled shower, dual granite vanities, and a separate water closet.
On the lower level, enjoy the sophisticated den with a bar area, a deep-seating sectional, and a sleeper loveseat for relaxing lounging in front of the well-stocked games cabinet and a 75” TV perfect for movie night. Downstairs also has a second primary suite with an ensuite defined by its bold design and oversized tile shower. The third king bedroom has full bath access right across the hallway. Finally, the custom bunk room, perfect for the younger (and younger at heart) guests, features five total beds: two sturdy and stylish twin-over-queen built-in bunk sets as well as a separate full bed in a niche, with each bed having its own power outlet, reading light, and storage cubby. All bedrooms have their own smart TVs.
Modern amenities and safety features abound, such as a backup generator, higher-than-standard deck and stair railings, and a level 2 V charger ensure that every stay in convenient, effortless, and comfortable. The driveway is fully paved, bordered with a split-rail fence, and has ample parking for as many as 7 vehicles.
But nature and the outdoors are the true stars at Skyrise. 1,500 square feet of decks, all with the same incredible views, mean you have your choice to gather by the wood-burning fireplace on the upper deck as the sun sets across the mountains, unwind in the oversized hot tub or custom-built porch swing on the lower deck, or head down to the rock-perched fire pit and roast marshmallows in Adirondack chairs.
Every moment you enjoy outdoors at Skyrise is surrounded by 60-foot high boulders, making this a setting unlike any other place at Eagles Nest. It’s quick to see that the land Skyrise is on is an outdoor playground on its own. Bouldering, climbing, hiking, mini caves, all without stepping off your property - if you’re feeling spry and adventurous, you can even climb to Great Camp (all at your own risk, of course, so please be careful). Explore and discover what nature has to offer.
Luxury, comfort, and style indoors -- views, adventures, and the amenities of Eagles Nest outdoors – at Skyrise, you can have it all.
