Nestled in the centre of one of the Cotswolds’ most beloved villages, The Haybarn is a beautifully converted stone cottage that blends original character with modern luxury.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a generous open-plan ground floor space. The living room anchors the space with two plush sofas, a striking exposed stone fireplace housing a wood-burning stove, and wide-plank oak flooring throughout. It’s the kind of room that invites long evenings with wine and good conversation.
Key Highlights:
- Woodburning stove
- Secure garden with lawn & sun-trap patio (complete with furniture & parasol)
- Large living & dining space, ideal for entertaining
- 1x parking space & EV charger
- 2x king-size beds (200+ threadcount) & waffle robes for all guests
- Ortigia product range (soap, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner)

- 15 minutes to Daylesford
- 25 minutes to Soho Farm House
- 15 minutes to Cotswold Farm Park

The dining area flows naturally from the living room, with a beautiful round wooden table seating four beneath a vaulted ceiling with original white-painted beams.
Alongside it, the kitchen is a real highlight - sage green shaker cabinetry with brass fittings, white worktops, a herringbone tile splashback and everything you’d need to cook up a storm.
Also on the ground floor is the bathroom, finished to a high spec with sandy metro tiles, a bath with overhead rainfall shower and brushed brass fittings throughout.
Upstairs, the vaulted landing with exposed timber trusses is an architectural moment in itself. The primary bedroom is a lovely retreat - a king bed with a padded headboard set beneath a decorative panelled apex wall, with pink lampshades adding a warm glow.
The second bedroom, tucked under the eaves, has a cosy, romantic feel with a rattan headboard, velvet throw, and a Velux window letting in the morning light.
As you’ll see in the photos, we have an open landing that connects the two bedrooms upstairs, while we have high railings - just a note to please be careful, especially with children.
We have a foldable cot here but please note we don’t provide cot linen so you will need to bring your own if you plan to use the cot.
Outside
The private enclosed garden is an unexpected treat - a proper lawn bordered by Cotswold stone walls, with a patio seating area and parasol perfect for alfresco breakfasts or evening drinks. It’s enclosed and quiet, despite being moments from the village centre.
We also have the luxury of a private parking space here - a rarity in central Bourton!
We have on site electric vehicle chargers enabling you to charge your car seamlessly while staying with us. This is with voltshare so all you need to do is download their app and pay to charge when you need to. Please note there’s an additional charge to use the EV chargers.

This region is famed for its rolling hills, verdant meadows, and honey-colored limestone villages that seem to have sprung from the pages of a storybook.
Travelers are drawn to the Cotswolds for its tranquil landscapes and the slower pace of life that pervades its quaint towns and villages. Walking enthusiasts can traverse the Cotswold Way, a 102-mile footpath that offers panoramic views and passes through picturesque hamlets, ancient woodlands, and past historic sites like the Neolithic burial chamber at Belas Knap and the ruins of Sudeley Castle.
The region's towns, such as Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water, are perfect for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Here, one can explore artisan shops, cozy tea rooms, and traditional pubs serving hearty English fare. The market town of Cirencester, often referred to as the "Capital of the Cotswolds," boasts a rich Roman history, with the Corinium Museum offering a glimpse into the area's ancient past.
Garden lovers will find themselves in paradise, with the Cotswolds home to some of the most beautiful gardens in England. Hidcote Manor Garden and Kiftsgate Court Gardens are just two examples where one can wander through intricately designed landscapes that explode with color and life during the spring and summer months.
