THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Jerusalem’s Old City and all its hidden treasures is right downstairs for you to explore, starting with the historical streets of the jewish quarter. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the Kotel (Western wall) as well as Jaffa gate and the souvenir market.
Besides the Mamilla shopping center is a few minutes away for a more modern experience.
Ben Yehuda street and Mahane Yehuda market are about 20 minutes walk.
GETTING AROUND
There is a lot to be done on foot given the location of the apartment. The old city is a complete pedestrian area.
If you plan on using buses or trains out of the old city, you’ll need to purchase a RavKav card (available at the airport or in the train stations) and load some money on it using the RavKav app on your phone.
Lastly we recommend using the app Gett to order taxis when needed.
