In the central part of the park stands the Silesian Insurgents Monument, one of the most recognizable landmarks commemorating the region’s history. Thanks to its close location, guests can easily enjoy the tranquility of the park while discovering an important part of Silesian heritage.
Katowice Market Square is also nearby. With its rich selection of restaurants, numerous cafés, and recreational spaces, it is a vibrant hub of social life and city events. Within Silesian Park, visitors will find many attractions, including a planetarium, the Silesian Zoological Garden, and the longest lowland cableway in Europe. During the cable car ride, you can admire picturesque views of the park and zoo from a completely new perspective.
