De igual forma a unos 700 metros del portal y al final de la playa de san Lorenzo se encuentra el parque de Isabel la Católica y el estadio del Molinón donde poder aparcar de manera gratuita con facilidad.
Aparte de la cercanía de la playa, al estar en el centro de la ciudad existen multitud de comercios y de hostelería (sidrerías, restaurantes) en los alrededores, incluso una tienda abierta 24h.
