At the center of the home is a dramatic swimming pool featuring a baja shelf with sun loungers, a “floating” sunken fire feature, and built-in hot tub. Mornings are quiet and light-filled, afternoons unfold poolside beneath open skies, and evenings glow with firelight, illuminated water, and wide desert sunsets giving way to stars.
Floor-to-ceiling glass connects the interior living spaces directly to the courtyard, creating seamless indoor–outdoor flow. Inside, the home is warm and modern, with an open-concept living and dining area designed for gathering and relaxation. Each of the 3 bedrooms opens up to the pool / courtyard. Natural textures, sculptural furnishings, and thoughtful design details echo the surrounding landscape while maintaining a refined, architectural feel.
Outdoor spaces are designed for entertainment, offering multiple areas for lounging, dining, and swimming. IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
- CHECK-IN PROCESS - Checking in at your Property Manager home is now easier than ever. Property Manager’s guidebook contains everything you need to know. From reservation details, property information, check-in instructions, local recommendations and add-on services to enhance your stay, you’ll find it all here.
- PARKING - The number of approved spaces for your rental can be found on the information posted inside the unit and the guidebook sent prior to check-in. Renters and their daytime guests should park in the garage or driveway. There is NO on-street parking available. To avoid ticketing or towing, please ensure all cars are not extending into or blocking the sidewalk.
- EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT - Stay a little longer and add up to 2 hours before or after your arrival for $75/hour. Half days (11am arrival or 4pm departure) are also available for 50% of the nightly rate for the night needing to be blocked to accommodate.
- DELIVERIES - We are unable to accept packages at the homes. Please plan accordingly and utilize holding packages at the local post office or nearby Amazon Lockers.
- EVENTS / RETREATS - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Small events within our permitting requirements are considered. Please note that all events require formal, written approval from the County of San Bernardino. Additionally, an event fee starting at $1,000 will apply, with the final cost determined by the specific scope and coverage of the occasion.
- PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos for personal use (and feel free to tag us @stayfieldtrip). Drones are not permitted due to county restrictions. While we welcome professional media projects, all commercial, professional, promotional, or revenue-generating photography and videography are subject to production fees. Additionally, any filming on the property is permitted only upon receiving formal approval from the County of San Bernardino. For these activities, we require payment in advance along with a signed production agreement, production insurance, and a location release. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT IF YOUR SHOOT IS COMMERCIAL, PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST. Any guests found to be doing a commercial shoot will have their reservation canceled. Any commercial shoots discovered during or after a stay will be responsible for the production fee.

Located just 8 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree, 2 minutes to the national park, 25 minutes to Pioneertown, 15 minutes to downtown Yucca Valley, 45 minutes to Palm Springs.
