Welcome to Old Mill Dome, a unique Island Park event and reunion venue. Old Mill
Dome is just shy of 10,000 square feet which means there is plenty of room to gather with
extended family, retreat with a large group or friends, or host a beautiful mountain wedding.
The Dome sleeps 40 in 10 private king bedrooms and two separate bunk rooms in the loft, each
with 5 cozy twin bunk beds. With 4 full bathrooms, there is no need to fight for space to get
ready for an adventurous day in Island Park. The Dome also provides ample opportunity for
entertainment! With a large theatre room that seats 17 in comfortable theatre styled seats,
you can cozy in with some popcorn in the evenings and watch a movie on your very own big
screen. Challenge friends to a game of pool or ping pong stationed in the loft or get outside and
play a game of volleyball or a game of horseshoe in the horseshoe pit. Enjoy the Dome’s very
own custom zip line that flies across a large section of the loft. With a group this big, a large
kitchen and dining area is very important. Old Mill Dome has got you covered! The Dome has a
large fully stocked kitchen with two ovens, two refrigerators, and two microwaves as well as
enough dinner ware for the entire group. Setting up for dinner time is simple with easy stowed
away tables and chairs on the main level. They are simple to put away if you need space to
spread out for games or gathering or non-invasive enough to leave out. There is nothing better
than a night out under the stars while gathering around the campfire, and luckily, The Old Mill
Dome has one large enough for everyone to enjoy! The splendid accommodations at The Old
Mill Dome will not disappoint.
Old Mill Dome is remotely located 4 miles down Chick Creek road, through a dense lodgepole pine tree forest. The road used to serve as a logging route used by trucks to transport trees from the Old Mill just down the way from the Dome. The structure sits on 2.5 lush acres of mountain meadow with views of the surrounding forest and mountain peaks. It is a prime spot to view elk, moose, and coyotes and other woodland critters. Better yet, the location of the Dome sits near miles upon miles of ATV, hiking and biking trails for you to explore. In fact, you
can take off right from the cabin door! The Dome sits in close proximity to the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway as well as Harriman State Park. The small section of Last Chance is just down Highway 20 where you will find a gas station to fuel up the toys and a delicious restaurant. Other local
attractions and businesses are just down Highway 20 that runs through the heart of Island Park and directly to the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, just 35 miles away. The location of Old Mill Dome provides a quiet secluded atmosphere, everything you might want for your mountain get away to Island Park. Plan your gathering at the Dome, you won’t be
disappointed.
