The Wimborne Model Town, another highlight, is a delightful 1/10th scale replica of the town as it was in the 1950s, offering a unique perspective on Wimborne's past.
The town's vibrant market, held several times a week, is a treasure trove of local produce, crafts, and antiques, perfect for those looking to experience local life or find a unique souvenir. For nature enthusiasts, the River Stour and the nearby Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty provide ample opportunities for picturesque walks, cycling, and wildlife spotting. The Wimborne Minster Folk Festival, held annually, is a celebration of folk music and dance that brings the town to life with vibrant performances and workshops.
