Just 10 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree and 18 minutes from the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, Desert Willow is your oasis for rest, play, and reconnection. -Endless Outdoor Amenities- Outside, Desert Willow unfolds into a luxurious desert playground designed for both fun and deep relaxation, with endless amenities abounding. Start your day with grounding movement on the yoga deck framed by a hand-painted mural, then awaken your body with an invigorating cold plunge or a refreshing rinse in the cold outdoor shower. Melt into the cedar sauna or hot tub, letting the desert stillness create a spa-like calm that invites you to slow down and be present. For moments of joyful connection, gather for a match on the pickleball court, play a game or share a meal or game around the pool table/dining table combo, or lounge together in the in-ground pool with baja shelf. As the sun sets, gather to watch a film on the outdoor movie theater under the stars from either the outdoor sectional area, complete with a propane fire pit, or on the neighboring pool loungers in the pool’s Baja shelf. As night falls, conversations flow easily around the propane fire pit, surrounded by sweeping, panoramic desert views and under a blanket of Joshua Tree’s famous starry skies. Every element of Desert Willow is intentionally designed to nurture rejuvenation, rest, connection and meaningful moments with the people you love. -Living Area- The spacious living room is a calming communal space, with a large smart TV, board games, plush furnishings, and beautiful natural light. Whether you’re unwinding with a film or enjoying music through the Sonos sound system, the vibe is cozy, high-end, and grounding. For additional sleeping space, there is a queen pull-out sofa bed with a memory foam mattress. -Kitchen & Dining- The fully equipped kitchen is a chef’s dream with ample space and modern appliances, making everything you’ll need to make a delicious meal during your stay, including spices and olive oil. For slow, peaceful mornings, a D’Longhi espresso machine, a drip coffee maker and a French press are provided along with locally sourced Joshua Tree Coffee Company beans. Creamers, sugars, and a selection of teas are also provided. Gather around the dining table just off the kitchen or dine outdoors at the back patio’s dining table / pool table combo for meals al fresco. -Bedrooms & Bathrooms- Each bedroom at Desert Willow is designed as a restful, luxurious haven, complete with fresh bathrobes in each closet. The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed with plush linens and a spa-like ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom offers a cozy queen bed and a private desk space, perfect for working from home. The third bedroom also has a queen bed. The living room also has a queen pull-out sofa bed for additional sleeping space. Both bathrooms are outfitted with walk-in showers and stocked with spa-grade towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other thoughtful touches. -Home Gym: Wellness & Movement- Inside Desert Willow, a dedicated gym space invites you to reconnect with your body and mind. The home features a Tonal Home Gym, HigherDose PEMF Mat, yoga mats, and a massage gun. The Tonal Home Gym offers technology for full-body workouts including strength training, HIIT, cardio, yoga, mobility, and recovery. Please note that a few closets are being used for storage for supplies for the rental that are locked to guests. Parking: Max 4 cars allowed at the property per our Short-Term Rental Permit with San Bernardino County. A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed. -Pool heating- If you’d like the pool heated to 84°F, please let us know at least 24 hours before arrival. A daily fee applies due to high fuel costs. If heating for multiple days, days must be consecutive. Pool heating is usually not needed from May through September. ► May through September - $150/night if needed ► October & April - $150/night ► November through March - $200/night *No fee to heat the hot tub!* -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool & hot tub is serviced Monday & Thursday, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician’s busy schedule. They will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Dogs- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed. -Local Experiences: Relax, Adventure, Connect- We’ve handpicked an incredible selection of local vendors to enhance your Joshua Tree stay, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and everything in between. Many services can come directly to the house, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable stay! -Desert Wildlife & Safety Tips- The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert. -Security Cameras- There are security cameras on top of the front of the house facing the parking area and on the post in the entryway facing the rest of the front yard in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances.
